How do I take care of my new wrap?2025-07-17T09:47:44-05:00

Caring for Your Vinyl Wrap

Keep It Looking Sharp. Protect Your Investment.

To get the most out of your new wrap and extend its life, a little care goes a long way. Here are some important guidelines to follow—especially in the first few days after installation:

Right After Installation:

  • Wait at least 7 days before washing. The adhesive needs time to fully cure. Avoid car washes, rain repellent treatments, and even hand washing during this period.
  • Let it rest. If possible, store the vehicle in a garage or shaded area during the first week to help the wrap settle properly.

Washing & Cleaning:

  • Hand washing is best. Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber towel to avoid water spots.
  • Touchless automatic washes are okay. If you can’t hand wash, opt for a touchless automatic wash. Avoid ones with spinning brushes, which can lift edges or cause scratches.
  • Be careful with pressure washers.
    • Keep the nozzle at least 12–18 inches away.
    • Use a wide spray pattern and a pressure under 2,000 PSI.
    • Avoid aiming the stream directly at the edges or seams of the wrap.

Additional Tips:

  • Avoid waxes with petroleum or abrasive ingredients—they can degrade the wrap’s finish. Use wrap-safe sealants if desired.
  • Remove bird droppings, sap, and road grime promptly to prevent staining.
  • Park in the shade when possible to help preserve color and reduce fading from UV exposure.

With proper care, your wrap will stay vibrant, clean, and eye-catching for years to come.

What do I need to supply for Artwork?2025-07-17T09:44:57-05:00

Get the Best Results—Start with the Right File.

To ensure the highest print quality and a smooth production process, we ask that all artwork be submitted in print-ready format. Please follow the guidelines below when preparing your files:

File Specifications:

  • Resolution: All raster (non-vector) artwork should be provided at 300 DPI (dots per inch) at full size. This ensures your prints come out sharp, clear, and professional-looking.
  • Vector Files: Whenever possible, submit vector-based artwork (such as Adobe Illustrator files) for graphics that need to be scaled without losing quality.
  • Bleed: Include a 1/8” (0.125″) bleed on all sides of your design to allow for edge-to-edge printing and trimming accuracy. Keep any essential text or graphics at least 1/4” inside the final cut line (safe zone).
  • File Formats: We prefer PDF or EPS files for print, as they retain quality and formatting best. High-resolution TIFF or AI files are also acceptable.
  • Fonts & Links: Please outline all fonts or include them with your file. Make sure all linked images are embedded or packaged.

Pro Tips:

  • Double-check file dimensions and orientation before submitting.
  • If using spot colors or Pantone, label them clearly.
  • Avoid using low-resolution web images—they may look fine on screen but will print pixelated.
